MX.3 DevOps Engineer

About the role

Murex is seeking a DevOps Engineer to design, build, and operate automated platforms that enable reliable, secure, and scalable delivery of the MX platform across SaaS, cloud, and on‑premise environments.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy and manage MX environments across development, testing, and production, handling provisioning, configuration, upgrades, patching and decommissioning.
• Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI or Azure DevOps, ensuring stability and minimizing build failures.
• Automate environment provisioning, configuration and upgrades, building reusable automation components.
• Implement monitoring, logging and alerting solutions, driving observability and reliability improvements.
• Manage data provisioning, masking, lifecycle activities and support database migration, sanitization and reconciliation.
• Act as escalation point for platform and environment incidents, troubleshooting complex issues and maintaining documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
• 1 to 4 years of experience in DevOps, CI/CD, or software engineering.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and communication skills, able to work under pressure.

Required skills

• CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps.
• Version control: Git (advanced usage).
• Scripting languages: Shell, Python, Java, Groovy.
• Operating systems: Linux/Unix.
• Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure (GCP a plus).
• Databases: Oracle, PostgreSQL or similar.
