MEP Engineer – Design, Execution & Maintenance

About the role

The MEP Engineer will lead the design, coordination, execution, testing, commissioning and optimisation of mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems for Daher Foods' projects and facilities. This role provides technical expertise to ensure compliance with engineering standards, safety regulations and project budgets while supporting both new installations and ongoing facility operations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review and evaluate MEP designs, calculations, specifications and drawings.
• Review engineering documents, BOQs, technical submittals and material specifications for code compliance.
• Support feasibility studies, technical evaluations and engineering solutions for new projects and upgrades.
• Provide technical support during project execution, coordinating with contractors, consultants and internal stakeholders.
• Monitor progress, resolve technical issues and conduct site inspections to verify installation quality.
• Support preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance programmes for MEP systems.
• Analyse equipment failures and recommend actions to improve reliability and performance.
• Identify opportunities for energy efficiency, operational optimisation and lifecycle cost reduction.
• Maintain engineering records, maintenance documentation and technical reports.
