About the role

The Medical Director is a full‑time, on‑site leader responsible for steering clinical excellence at Monla Hospital in Tripoli. Reporting to executive leadership, the role ensures the highest standards of patient care, safety, and quality across all medical services.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic clinical leadership and oversee medical staff governance, credentialing, and performance management.
• Drive regulatory compliance, accreditation, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Lead physician recruitment, retention, and development to build a high‑performing clinical team.
• Serve as the primary liaison between physicians and administration, fostering collaboration and accountability.
• Partner with senior executives to align clinical operations with the hospital’s strategic objectives.

Required profile

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) from a recognized medical school.
• Member of the Order of Physicians.
• Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Public Health, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of progressive clinical practice and 3–5 years of leadership experience in a hospital or healthcare setting.
• Experience with medical staff governance, quality improvement, accreditation, and physician performance management is preferred.
