Mechanical Site Engineer

About the role

The Mechanical Site Engineer will oversee the execution of all mechanical works on construction sites for Jaber Group Real Estate in Beirut. You will ensure that HVAC, plumbing, fire‑protection, drainage, water‑supply and pump installations are carried out in line with approved drawings, specifications and project schedules.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor day‑to‑day mechanical site activities, verifying compliance with design documents and project requirements.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers to resolve interface issues and maintain smooth progress.
• Escalate delays, clashes or quality concerns to the Project Manager for timely resolution.
• Review mechanical drawings, shop drawings, BOQs and submittals, raising RFIs and technical queries as needed.
• Inspect delivered materials and equipment against specifications before installation.
• Track work progress, manpower, quantities and inspection results for accurate reporting.
• Support testing, pre‑commissioning, commissioning, balancing and hand‑over activities.
• Maintain organized records of inspections, approvals, drawings, RFIs and testing documentation.
• Ensure adherence to HSE requirements, PPE use and site housekeeping standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
