Mechanical Draughtsman

About the role

We are looking for a full‑time Mechanical Draughtsman to join our UAE‑based MEP team. The successful candidate will produce detailed mechanical drawings, layout plans and as‑built documentation while working closely with engineers and project teams to meet design specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed mechanical drawings, layout plans and as‑built drawings.
• Interpret technical specifications, engineering notes and client requirements.
• Collaborate with engineers, consultants and contractors to ensure design accuracy.
• Make necessary modifications to drawings and ensure compliance with industry and safety standards.
• Develop shop drawings for mechanical, plumbing and HVAC systems.

Required profile

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit and other drafting software.
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems, including mechanical, plumbing and HVAC.
• Experience preparing shop drawings, layouts and as‑built documentation.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline; drafting diploma or certification is a plus.
• Previous experience in a similar role within construction or MEP projects.
