Logistics Officer

About the role

Saint-Gobain is seeking a Logistics Officer to support its warehouse operations and ensure smooth product deliveries. You will work closely with the Warehouse Supervisor and other logistics staff to maintain high standards of safety, accuracy, and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Execute loading and unloading activities according to the Warehouse Supervisor’s instructions.
• Coordinate maintenance and repair needs for forklifts and admixture pumps.
• Report product returns from customer sites to the Warehouse Supervisor.
• Maintain and organize logistics documentation, records, and filing systems.
• Ensure all company‑owned or leased trucks are clean, presentable, and ready for loading.
• Verify that products scheduled for delivery are undamaged, within expiry dates, and properly presented.
• Load and secure products to prevent damage during transportation.
• Confirm loaded quantities match invoices and sign off on delivery documents.
• Label invoices with corresponding batch numbers.
• Report truck condition, cleanliness, mechanical status, and weather protection readiness.
• Ensure truck drivers are present during loading to avoid misunderstandings.
• Comply with safety procedures and maintain 5S standards in the work area.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• 0–1 year of relevant work experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong sense of responsibility, discipline, and commitment.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment and as part of a team.

Required skills
