Logistics Manager – Nigeria

About the role

We are seeking a Logistics Manager to lead the planning, coordination and oversight of transportation, warehousing and inventory movement across Nigeria. The role ensures efficient, cost‑effective operations while maintaining high service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and manage inbound and outbound logistics activities, ensuring smooth flow of goods.
• Coordinate transportation, shipping and delivery schedules to meet customer expectations.
• Monitor logistics performance, promptly resolve operational issues and minimise disruptions.
• Develop and implement logistics strategies that improve efficiency and reduce overall costs.
• Monitor inventory movement, minimise stock losses or damages and ensure proper storage conditions and warehouse organization.
• Manage the company fleet and third‑party transport providers, overseeing vehicle maintenance schedules and fuel consumption.
• Prepare and manage logistics budgets and produce daily, weekly and monthly performance reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• At least 6 years of proven experience in logistics or supply chain management.
• Strong communication, decision‑making and time‑management abilities.
• Detail‑oriented with a focus on operational excellence.
