Logistics Client Support Specialist

About the role

The Logistics Client Support Specialist acts as the primary point of contact for assigned coffee‑related clients, managing the full lifecycle of sales contracts and inventory positions. The role ensures smooth, cost‑effective, and compliant delivery of services while supporting internal teams and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end execution of sales contracts, from initiation through delivery and inventory closure.
• Serve as the main operational liaison for clients and internal stakeholders.
• Monitor execution milestones, shipping instructions, sampling, deliveries, and inventory movements to prevent disruptions.
• Validate freight bookings and confirm freight payment completion as a control checkpoint.
• Anticipate risks and resolve operational issues independently or via escalation.
• Maintain accurate execution documentation such as invoices, releases, credit/debit notes, and sampling instructions.
• Keep client profiles, positions, and inventory data up‑to‑date in internal systems.
• Coordinate with Trading, Risk, Finance, Warehouses, Forwarders, and other service providers.
• Mentor analysts and assistants through knowledge sharing and day‑to‑day guidance.
• Identify process inefficiencies and propose continuous‑improvement solutions.
• Review non‑coffee service invoices for accuracy and timeliness.
• Validate client‑side Letter of Credit and bank collection requirements.
