Lighting & Control Technician

About the role

Tabet Engineering is looking for a skilled Lighting & Control Technician to join its team in Beirut. The technician installs, assembles, configures and maintains lighting systems and control solutions across various projects.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble lighting fixtures and components according to technical specifications.
• Install and commission architectural and commercial lighting systems.
• Configure and troubleshoot lighting control systems (DALI, DMX, KNX or similar).
• Assist in installing LED drivers, power supplies and control interfaces.
• Read and interpret electrical and lighting plans.
• Perform system testing, troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Coordinate with engineers and project managers during project execution.
• Ensure compliance with safety and electrical standards.

Required profile

• Technical diploma in Electrical Engineering or Electronics.
• 2+ years of experience in lighting installation or lighting control systems.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Knowledge of LED lighting systems and control protocols is a plus; a valid driving licence is also a plus.
