Lead Specialist - Credit

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Lead Specialist – Credit to oversee a portfolio of more than 200 customers across the Middle East, Africa, and South‑Eastern Europe. The role focuses on timely collection of receivables, maintaining credit risk controls, and supporting healthy cash flow while minimizing financial exposure.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor customer accounts and follow up on newly issued invoices to ensure receipt and timely processing.
• Manage and update customer credit insurance limits in the ERP system.
• Implement CPI increases and other contractual price adjustments.
• Drive collections by contacting customers about outstanding and overdue invoices.
• Escalate delinquent accounts, issuing warnings of possible service suspension.
• Coordinate with Legal, Credit Insurance, Sales, and Customer Service to resolve payment disputes.
• Maintain accurate records of collection activities, communications, and account statuses.
• Analyze payment trends, identify credit risks, and recommend actions to management.
• Prepare regular reports on collections performance, aging balances, and credit exposure.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or a related field.
• Fluency in Arabic, French and English.
• 3‑5 years of experience in credit control, collections or accounts receivable.
• Experience managing international customer portfolios, preferably in MEA or SEE regions.
• Familiarity with credit insurance processes and ERP systems.
• Strong understanding of credit management, collections procedures and risk mitigation.
