Junior Technical Accounting Analyst

About the role

Ascoma Insurance Advisor & Broker, part of Chedid Capital Group, is seeking a Junior Technical Accounting Analyst to support the financial and technical accounting functions of Ascoma International. The role combines administrative oversight, data control, and reporting to ensure accurate billing and compliance across the group's reinsurance activities.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate administrative and financial management of Ascoma International with the Group Accounting department.
• Manage and monitor retrocessions.
• Handle import and reinsurance operations, including invoicing brokerage fees, tracking payments, and recording data in IT systems.
• Prepare dashboards, verify reports, and contribute to commercial and financial management alongside the Management Control department.
• Perform daily checks on import account transactions in the production system and supervise overall control of import accounts.
• Ensure technical data from subsidiaries in Africa is accurately captured and controlled.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, auditing or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar accounting or brokerage role.
• Strong attention to detail, patience, and excellent communication skills.
• Fluency in both French and English.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, complex formulas, data analysis).
