IT Support Technician – Jbeil

About the role

The IT Support Technician will be the first point of contact for users in Jbeil, providing assistance via phone, email, in‑person and remote channels. The role ensures that hardware and software operate smoothly and that users receive timely guidance and training.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and follow the IT department’s policies and procedures.
• Provide first‑line technical support, troubleshooting issues remotely and on‑site.
• Install, configure, modify and repair computer hardware and software, including updates and antivirus solutions.
• Monitor daily system performance, follow up with users to confirm issue resolution, and gather feedback.
• Create and maintain training manuals, conduct user training sessions, and log support queries.
• Escalate complex hardware or software problems to the Applications and Infrastructure teams and collaborate with the IT team to ensure system reliability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, MIS or a related field.
• Proven experience as a help‑desk technician or in a similar customer‑support role.
• Strong communication skills, customer‑oriented attitude and ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Detail‑oriented, reliable and capable of working independently or within a team.
