IT Infrastructure and Security Engineer

About the role

PROCOMIX Technology Group is looking for an IT Infrastructure & Security Engineer to design, implement, maintain and secure its enterprise IT environment. You will work across on‑premise datacenters, Microsoft Azure cloud services and networking components, ensuring reliability, scalability and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Design, configure and support Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy and file services.
• Manage physical and virtual infrastructure, including servers, storage, virtualization platforms and datacenter resources.
• Implement, monitor and optimise Microsoft Azure services such as virtual machines, networking, storage, backup and monitoring.
• Support Microsoft 365, Exchange Online/Server and hybrid on‑premise/cloud solutions.
• Apply security hardening, vulnerability and patch management, endpoint protection and incident response across all infrastructure layers.
• Monitor performance, capacity and health; troubleshoot complex incidents and perform root‑cause analysis.
• Collaborate with the security team to ensure compliance with internal policies and industry standards.

Required profile

• Strong technical background in Microsoft server technologies and Azure cloud platforms.
• Hands‑on experience with datacenter operations, virtualization and networking fundamentals.
• Solid understanding of infrastructure security best practices and remediation processes.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects and communicate technical concepts clearly.
