IT Helpdesk Technician

About the role

Electric Power Engineers, LLC (EPE) is seeking an IT Helpdesk Technician to join its Beirut office. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, testing, and repairing computer systems and networks while providing technical support to both local and remote employees.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine system support, maintenance, and testing; troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
• Provide phone, email, and remote triage to resolve IT tickets and keep the Service Desk system up‑to‑date.
• Assist executives and staff with equipment setup, ensuring new hires are productive from day one.
• Order, track, and manage inventory of IT equipment and materials.
• Document SOPs, procedures, and related policy documents.
• Conduct proactive equipment maintenance and daily floor surveys to identify support needs.
• Coordinate with satellite sites to anticipate and address support requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of IT‑related experience.
• Strong customer service orientation with patience and professionalism.
• Ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical users.
• Experience working with corporate services such as HR and Finance for onboarding.

Required skills

• Windows Desktop and Server operating systems.
• Microsoft 365 suite.
• Laptops, docking stations, and multi‑display setups.
• Servers, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless networking.
• Network switches and basic networking concepts.
• Service Desk ticketing systems and remote support tools.
