IT Helpdesk Technician

About the role

Electric Power Engineers, LLC is seeking an IT Helpdesk Technician to join its Beirut office. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, testing, and repairing computer systems and networks, providing both on‑site and remote support to employees across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine technical support, maintenance, and testing of hardware, software, and network components.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system failures, software conflicts, and connectivity issues.
• Collaborate with employees, including executives, to address IT problems promptly.
• Coordinate with HR and Finance to provision equipment for new hires.
• Manage inventory of IT equipment and track orders.
• Document SOPs, procedures, and security‑related documentation.
• Install, configure, and maintain computers, workstations, printers, and related devices.
• Provide telephone, email, and remote triage support via the Service Desk ticket system.
• Monitor tickets, prioritize work, and ensure timely resolution.
• Conduct proactive equipment checks and floor surveys to prevent downtime.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of experience in an IT support role.
• Strong customer service orientation with patience and professionalism.
• Ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical users.
• Experience working with Windows Desktop & Server environments and Microsoft 365.
