Investment Analyst

About the role

The Investment Analyst will support the investment team by gathering data, preparing analyses, and communicating performance insights to senior stakeholders. This role bridges internal and external partners to ensure accurate reporting and informed decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and coordinate data from internal and external parties to produce feasibility reports and analyses.
• Prepare presentations and reports on investment performance for senior management, board members, shareholders, and investors.
• Maintain relationships with banks, investors, lawyers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders, providing regular follow‑up.
• Assist investment and legal teams in agreement preparation and negotiation.
• Research market trends, industry developments, competitor activity, and regulatory changes affecting investment decisions.
• Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate opportunities, assess risks, and forecast performance.
• Support risk‑management processes by identifying and mitigating potential project risks.
• Help update group and departmental procedures and track key performance indicators.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of experience in investment analysis or a similar role.
• Proficiency in financial modelling and data analysis.
• Experience preparing information decks and delivering presentations.
• Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
• Knowledge of banking and financial products; French language skills are a plus.
• Understanding of telecom, energy, or service industries and basic legal concepts is advantageous.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Engineering, or related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
