Instructional Designer (eLearning) – Arabic-speaking

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Instructional Designer to create a self‑paced eLearning program for journalists. The project is remote, contract‑based, and requires fluency in Arabic to translate newsroom expertise into engaging online training.

Key responsibilities

• Structure content into courses, modules, and lessons.
• Design learning flows, lesson formats (video, exercises, case studies) and a repeatable course template.
• Collaborate with subject‑matter experts to convert investigative material into practical training.
• Provide strategic input on product packaging, pricing, and LMS/platform selection.
• Suggest scalable approaches for selling individual courses, bundles, or institutional packages.

Required profile

• Fluent in spoken and written Arabic.
• Proven experience designing self‑paced eLearning courses that have been commercially sold.
• Experience working directly with SMEs to shape curriculum.
• Ability to balance educational design with commercial considerations.
• Bonus: background in journalism, media, OSINT, or research.
