Instructional Designer (Byblos Campus)

About the role

The Center for Innovative Learning (CIL) seeks an Instructional Designer to join its Byblos campus team. Reporting to the Director of CIL, you will collaborate with faculty to redesign courses, integrate new pedagogies, and leverage technology to enhance learner outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Provide one‑on‑one support to faculty for course renovation, new pedagogies, and technology experimentation.
• Develop instructional materials and integrate current technologies into course content.
• Assist faculty in delivering content across online, hybrid, and face‑to‑face formats using high‑impact pedagogies.
• Analyze, evaluate, and recommend instructional tools and technologies.
• Review online and hybrid courses using the Quality Matters Rubric to ensure high quality and engagement.
• Edit and develop online learning materials, design activities, assignments, and assessments.
• Collaborate with the Multimedia Designer to create audio, video, simulations, games, and interactive tools.
• Compile data reports and periodically update the supervisor on progress.
• Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Education, Computer Science, STEM, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of instructional design experience in the education sector.
• Strong knowledge of learning theories and instructional design models.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Arabic and English.
• Creative storytelling ability and experience writing instructional scripts.
• Team‑oriented mindset with an innovative approach to technology use.
