Information Management Officer

About the role

The Information Management (IM) Officer will support evidence‑based decision‑making by collecting, managing and analysing programme data. Working under the MEAL‑IM Specialist, the officer will ensure data quality, consistency and accessibility across the organisation, including during emergency response situations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and optimise IM solutions such as dashboards, digital data‑collection tools and AI‑enhanced workflows.
• Translate questionnaires into digital tools using Survey123, KoboToolbox and CommCare.
• Maintain and secure data systems, create regular backups and ensure compliance with SCI policies.
• Produce geographical maps, visualisations and analytical reports to inform programme implementation.
• Support the head office’s digital platforms and assist the case‑management team with CPIMS and internal platforms.
• Automate data‑entry and reporting processes to minimise manual effort.

Required profile

• Experience in information management, data collection and analysis within humanitarian or development contexts.
• Familiarity with MEAL processes and emergency response data needs.
• Ability to work collaboratively with field teams, MEAL coordinators and programme development units.
• Commitment to child safeguarding (Level 3 contact).
