Import‑Export Specialist (FMCG)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Import‑Export Specialist to manage end‑to‑end trade operations for fast‑moving consumer goods at International Factory for Food and Beverages. The role is based on‑site in Safra, Lebanon and involves coordinating shipments, documentation and compliance across global markets.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee import and export processes for FMCG products, ensuring timely delivery to international destinations.
• Prepare and manage trade documents such as commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, letters of credit and health certificates.
• Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping lines, customs brokers and clearing agents to coordinate shipments.
• Track shipments, identify and resolve logistical issues proactively.
• Maintain compliance with customs regulations, Ministry of Health requirements and other international trade rules.
• Support onboarding of new clients and nurture relationships with global partners.
• Represent IFFB at trade exhibitions, follow up on leads and promote the company’s offerings.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in import/export operations, international logistics or supply chain, preferably within FMCG or food & beverage.
• Strong knowledge of export documentation, customs procedures and trade regulations.
• Experience handling Ministry of Health submissions and regulatory compliance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, International Business or a related field.
• Fluent English; Arabic and/or French are a strong advantage.
• Based in the Keserwan/Jbeil area or able to work on‑site in Safra.
