Import Coordinator

About the role

The Import Coordinator will join our logistics team in Beirut to manage and streamline import shipments for a diverse client base. This full‑time, on‑site position ensures that all import activities comply with customs regulations and meet our high standards of service quality.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate import shipments from booking to delivery, preparing and reviewing all required documentation.
• Manage bookings with carriers and ensure compliance with customs and regulatory requirements.
• Communicate daily with clients, carriers, and internal teams to track shipments, resolve issues, and provide status updates.
• Support customs brokerage processes and maintain accurate records in company systems.
• Identify and implement workflow improvements to enhance operational efficiency and service quality.

Required profile

• Strong expertise in import operations and familiarity with international trade practices.
• Knowledge of customs brokerage procedures and regulatory compliance.
• Experience with ocean freight documentation and processes.
• Excellent communication and customer‑service skills.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
• Proficiency with MS Office and basic logistics or freight‑management software.
• Ability to work on‑site in Beirut and collaborate within a team environment.
• Relevant experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain; a related diploma or degree is an asset.
• Fluency in English and Arabic; additional languages are a plus.
