HSE Engineer

About the role

The HSE Engineer will ensure compliance with all statutory regulations, standards and internal policies related to health, safety and environment at Liban Cables. The role supports a safety‑first culture, promotes ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 adherence and contributes to the company’s sustainability objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and enforce compliance with local regulations, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.
• Promote a safety‑first mindset across all departments.
• Identify workplace health risks (ergonomics, ventilation, exposure) and develop mitigation initiatives.
• Support environmental strategy through energy‑efficiency, waste‑reduction and emissions‑control projects.
• Prepare safety reports, risk assessments and HSE project documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Up to 5 years of experience in risk assessment, safety reporting or HSE projects.
• Strong oral and written communication skills in Arabic, English and French.
• Excellent computer literacy.
