Head Waiter

About the role

We are looking for an experienced and professional Head Waiter to lead our service team and ensure an excellent dining experience for every guest. The ideal candidate is confident, organized, customer‑focused, and able to lead the team effectively during busy service periods.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate waiters and service staff during daily operations.
• Ensure high standards of food and beverage service at all times.
• Welcome guests and provide professional, attentive service.
• Assign tables and responsibilities to service staff.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and handle customer requests or concerns.
• Coordinate closely with the kitchen and bar to ensure smooth, timely service.
• Train, guide, and motivate waiters and new team members.
• Maintain clean and properly prepared dining areas.
• Check orders for accuracy and ensure correct presentation and delivery.
• Assist the Restaurant Manager with daily operations and staff coordination.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Head Waiter, Captain or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of restaurant service standards.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
• Good customer‑service and problem‑solving abilities.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays.
• Knowledge of POS systems is an advantage.
• Fluency in English preferred; additional languages a plus.
