Head of Support Services

About the role

Lead the overall strategy and compliance of logistics, human resources and finance for Médecins du Monde’s Lebanon mission. You will ensure that support services meet donor requirements, national regulations and organisational policies.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership to the General Coordinator and Country Management Team on all support‑related matters.
• Oversee quality, compliance and performance of finance, HR, logistics and administration functions.
• Strengthen internal control systems, manage risks and lead audits or investigations.
• Recruit, coach and develop the support services team, fostering cross‑department collaboration.
• Represent the organisation with authorities, partners and donors as required.

Required profile

• Significant experience in humanitarian operations, including senior support coordination in an international NGO.
• Strong expertise across HR, finance, logistics and administration, preferably supporting health programmes.
• Strategic, analytical and solution‑oriented leader able to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent communicator comfortable engaging with partners, authorities and diverse teams.
• Fluent in English; French and/or Arabic are strong assets.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.

What we offer

• Gross monthly salary of 3392 € on a fixed‑term 6‑month contract.
• 13th‑month salary after six months, expatriation allowance (10 % of gross salary), travel, visa and vaccination coverage.
