Head of Resources Management (P)

About the role

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) seeks a senior professional to lead the Resources Management function in its Country Office. Reporting to the Head of Office and working closely with the Senior Regional Resources Management Officer, the incumbent will oversee financial, human‑resources and administrative operations to ensure efficient, compliant, and accountable service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and oversee financial management for all Country Office activities, including expenditure tracking and accountability.
• Conduct financial analysis of programmes in coordination with the Country Office Manager and regional officers.
• Supervise treasury functions, forecast cash flows, and manage fund disbursements in line with donor agreements.
• Prepare programme and budget reports according to IOM regulations and review monthly accounts.
• Analyse budget versus actual variances, implement corrective actions, and prevent project deficits.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets for new projects and provide technical support throughout the project cycle.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising budgetary, financial, human‑resources and administrative functions, preferably in an international or UN‑related setting.
• Strong knowledge of IOM financial regulations, donor compliance requirements, and public‑sector budgeting processes.
• Ability to work collaboratively with senior managers and regional teams.
