Head of Power Department (Beirut)

About the role

ICC Group is seeking a visionary engineering leader to head its Power Department from its headquarters in Beirut. You will steer a portfolio of high‑impact power projects across multiple countries, providing technical, commercial and managerial direction to a team of around 20 engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the full EPC lifecycle for conventional and renewable power generation, substations and HV/MV/LV distribution networks.
• Set and enforce rigorous technical standards and ensure compliance with international codes.
• Conduct technical negotiations with international partners, OEMs and lenders, and advise senior management on optimal solutions.
• Own pricing, estimation and bid strategy for power tenders, building BOQs, cost models and bid build‑ups.
• Lead joint‑venture and consortium negotiations, assessing partner capabilities and structuring roles.
• Mentor, develop and allocate resources for a department of approximately 20 electrical and power engineers, monitoring project progress, budgets and schedules.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in power engineering and EPC projects across emerging markets.
• Deep technical mastery of power generation, substations and distribution networks.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience in tender pricing and cost optimization.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, capable of representing the company at the highest levels.
• Ability to lead multi‑country teams and manage complex project portfolios.
