Gym Trainer

About the role

Join the InterContinental Mzaar team as a Gym Trainer, delivering personalized fitness experiences to hotel guests and members. You will work in a scenic mountain resort, promoting wellness and supporting the hotel’s health‑focused initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests and members with enthusiasm, creating a motivating environment.
• Ensure safe and proper use of all gym equipment, maintaining it in top condition.
• Monitor the gym floor, assist guests with machine usage, and provide guidance on workouts.
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene and organization of the fitness centre in line with health‑and‑safety standards.
• Stay updated on the latest fitness trends, techniques and wellness programmes.
• Promote the hotel’s spa and wellness facilities, as well as health‑related promotions.
• Report equipment faults or safety hazards immediately.
• Encourage guest engagement with loyalty programmes and assist with enrolments.
• Support special fitness or wellbeing events organised by the hotel.
• Handle guest inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally.

Required profile

• Diploma or certification in fitness, personal training or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year experience as a fitness or gym instructor, preferably in a hotel or wellness setting.
• Certified in CPR and First Aid.
• Fluent in English and Arabic.
• Professional appearance and a positive attitude.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
