Grants & Project Manager (Lebanon)

About the role

The Grants & Project Manager will support CESVI’s humanitarian programmes across Lebanon by leading grant development, managing donor relationships and overseeing project delivery. Reporting to the Head of Mission Lebanon and Syria and functionally to the MENA Regional Grant Manager, the role ensures timely, compliant and high‑impact funding for education, protection and livelihoods interventions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end proposal development: identify opportunities, write narratives, design budgets and submit on time.
• Research and analyse funding trends of institutional donors such as ECHO, USAID/BHA, FCDO, UN agencies and foundations.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary proposal teams, including technical staff, finance, MEAL and partners.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of donor rules and ensure compliance throughout the grant cycle.
• Facilitate grant start‑up, review and close‑out meetings and manage internal risk assessment tools.
• Prepare and submit high‑quality narrative and financial donor reports.
• Initiate, plan, execute, monitor and close projects, coordinating all staff involved.

Required profile

• Proven experience in grant development, donor compliance and project management within the humanitarian sector.
• Strong understanding of donor funding priorities and reporting requirements.
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners.
• Excellent analytical and written communication skills.
