GL SSC Team Lead – EMEA Shared Services

About the role

The GL SSC Team Lead will head the General Ledger team of the EMEA Shared Service Center based in Beirut. Reporting to the EMEA Record to Report Manager, you will drive transformation, continuous improvement and compliance across financial operations while meeting strict deadlines.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit, onboard and train GL team members, set performance expectations and provide coaching.
• Act as the D365 expert, resolve system issues and coordinate testing in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
• Identify automation opportunities, lead RPA, Onestream, PowerApps/Power Automate and PowerBI projects, and support ERP migrations and M&A integrations.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, internal policies and regulatory requirements; collaborate with audit teams.
• Monitor KPI’s, oversee month‑end close, balance‑sheet reconciliations, journal reviews and post‑close checks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance or Accounting with strong IFRS knowledge.
• 2–3 years of experience in Record‑to‑Report or Shared Services.
• Proven leadership, cross‑functional collaboration and conflict‑resolution skills.
