Front Office Agent – Night Shift

About the role

The Front Office Agent (Night Shift) is the first point of contact for guests arriving and departing the hotel. Working in the Rooms Division, you will ensure a friendly, professional experience that reflects the hotel’s standards and the Leading Quality Assurance (LQA) expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Check‑in arriving guests, register them, assign rooms and accommodate special requests.
• Verify payment methods, follow credit‑checking procedures and handle cash transactions.
• Process check‑out, settle accounts, issue invoices and manage last‑minute charges.
• Perform front‑office cashier duties, including posting charges and foreign‑currency exchange.
• Answer guest inquiries by phone or in person, provide information, and refer issues when necessary.
• Coordinate room status updates with housekeeping for early check‑ins, late check‑outs and special requests.
• Maintain a tidy work area and stay informed about hotel products, services and daily activities.

Required profile

• Lebanese nationality.
• Hospitality Management or related education.
• Minimum one year of customer‑service experience, preferably in a hotel environment.
• Excellent oral and written Lebanese Arabic and good English communication skills.

Required skills

• Operational knowledge of front‑desk procedures in a luxury hotel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with the Opera property management system.
