Food & Beverage Manager

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on, commercially‑minded Food & Beverage Manager to lead daily operations of the SHOT London coffee‑shop project in Beirut. Reporting to senior management, you will ensure high‑quality service, strong team performance and consistent operational standards throughout the 2‑year assignment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day food and beverage operations, ensuring efficient service and guest satisfaction.
• Plan staff schedules, manage shift rotations and supervise service teams.
• Coordinate closely with kitchen and bar staff to maintain quality, hygiene and safety standards.
• Monitor inventory, stock levels and supply requirements, implementing clear operational procedures.
• Handle guest concerns professionally and support revenue growth through sales monitoring.
• Assist in menu planning, pricing and product performance reviews.
• Control food and beverage costs to meet profitability targets.
• Coach, train and develop team members, fostering a service‑focused culture.
• Provide regular reporting and contribute to continuous operational improvement.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in food and beverage operations, preferably in a restaurant, café or similar hospitality setting.
• Previous supervisory or managerial experience is strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of quality control, health and safety standards and guest relations.
• Proven ability to organise schedules, delegate responsibilities and maintain accountability.
• Commercial awareness with the ability to monitor sales and operational performance.
• Fluent English; Arabic is a plus.
