Financial Controls Manager – Middle East

About the role
The Finance Controls Manager will lead the strengthening of the firm’s financial control environment across the Middle East. Reporting to Finance Leadership, the role designs, assesses and monitors controls across multiple countries, business units and service delivery models, acting as a trusted advisor to finance teams and internal audit.
Key responsibilities
- Develop, enhance and maintain a regional financial controls framework ensuring consistency and alignment across jurisdictions.
- Own and maintain Risk & Control Matrices for key end‑to‑end financial processes, adapting to local regulatory requirements.
- Design and execute control testing programs covering design and operating effectiveness, and provide independent reviews and health checks.
- Identify control deficiencies, coordinate remediation actions and monitor key control KPIs and exception reporting.
- Conduct fraud risk assessments, evaluate existing controls, and support investigations of control failures.
- Serve as primary finance liaison for internal audit, coordinate audit activities, consolidate documentation and drive timely closure of findings.
- Provide advisory support to finance and business units, promoting continuous improvement and audit readiness.
Required profile
- Strong stakeholder coordination and communication skills in a highly matrixed, multi‑country environment.
- Deep expertise in internal controls, risk management and regulatory compliance.
- Ability to influence and advise senior finance leadership and audit functions.
