Financial Compliance Manager

About the role

The Financial Compliance Manager acts as the independent control seat for the finance organisation, ensuring that every inter‑company transaction, policy‑driven process and payment across the holding complies with internal policies, transfer‑pricing rules, tax and regulatory requirements, and the group’s ethical standards. Reporting directly to the Group Chief Financial Officer, the role provides the proof that the companies are always audit‑ready.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the payment gate: review and sign off every inter‑company Request for Payment before any funds are released.
• Validate completeness of evidence packs, correct invoice characterization, pricing in line with approved markup cards, and appropriate withholding‑tax treatment.
• Ensure the service leg of each transaction is fully closed before the money leg is opened, with delivery evidence and invoicing attached.
• Enforce the prohibition on royalty or brand‑license characterisation for intra‑company charges and report any violations.
• Maintain custody of the Holding Group Policy Pack, track acknowledgements, and act as the designated stop‑point for staff queries on treatment, pricing or documentation.
• Escalate unresolved issues to the Financial Compliance Department or higher authority as required.

Required profile

• Independent mindset with absolute segregation of duties from operational finance functions.
• Direct, unimpeded access to the Group CFO and ability to operate without managerial pressure.
• Strong ethical standards and a commitment to audit readiness.
• Excellent analytical skills to assess transaction documentation and compliance evidence.
