About the role
Our client, a leading financial institution in Lebanon, is seeking an experienced External Audit Manager to lead and coordinate audit activities across the organization. The role focuses on ensuring robust risk management, regulatory compliance, and the integrity of financial reporting.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain comprehensive audit procedures that reflect best practices and address identified risk areas.
- Conduct risk assessments to pinpoint potential financial losses arising from fraud or asset mismanagement.
- Review financial records, statements, and related documentation to verify compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial projections to support strategic planning.
- Coordinate with external stakeholders such as lawyers, accountants, auditors, lenders, investors, and regulators.
Required profile
- Strong finance‑based analytical abilities.
- Minimum of 8 years of external audit experience, preferably with a Big 4 firm.
- Professional certifications such as CPA or CIA are highly regarded.
