Finance Project Manager

About the role

The Finance Project Manager will lead the financial management of Medair’s Lebanon country programme, ensuring that resources are used accurately, compliantly and efficiently. Reporting to the Programme Development Coordinator, the role bridges finance and programme strategy, providing timely financial insights to support decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all finance and accounting activities for the country programme, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with donor requirements, organisational policies and Lebanese regulations.
• Prepare and present regular financial statements and analysis to senior leadership.
• Support programme teams with financial guidance and cost control measures.
• Coordinate with external auditors and manage audit processes.
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation for all project activities.

Required profile

• Relevant university degree in finance, accounting, economics or a related field.
• Proven experience in financial management within humanitarian or development contexts.
• Strong understanding of donor reporting standards and compliance.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively with programme and senior leadership teams.
