Finance & Accounting Officer

About the role

Spexal develops and manufactures advanced robotic solutions for international clients, combining engineering, innovation and industrial production. It is looking for a Finance & Accounting Officer to own its day-to-day accounting and financial operations, keeping records accurate, payments timely and processes efficient. The role covers accounting through the ERP system, coordination with external accountants and auditors, and support for management with financial reporting, cash-flow monitoring and practical financial insights.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting activities and maintain accurate records in the ERP
• Record supplier bills, customer invoices, payments, expenses and other transactions
• Prepare supplier payments, monitor due dates and coordinate payment approvals
• Issue customer invoices and follow up on outstanding payments
• Perform bank, supplier and customer account reconciliations, and manage petty cash and expense documentation
• Coordinate with external accounting and audit firms for tax compliance, reporting, audits and financial closing
• Prepare periodic reports such as cash position, receivables, payables and profit and loss statements
• Monitor cash flow, upcoming commitments and payment schedules
• Support budget monitoring, cost tracking and project profitability analysis
• Provide management with financial observations, recommendations and insights

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in accounting and financial operations
• Experience in manufacturing, engineering, trading or project-based companies is an advantage
• Good command of English and Arabic
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and integrity
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and take ownership
• Analytical and proactive mindset

Required skills

• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial statements and reconciliations
• Hands-on experience with accounting software or ERP systems; Odoo experience strongly preferred
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and financial reporting
• Professional accounting certifications are an advantage but not mandatory
