Events Planner

About the role

The Events Planner will sell and coordinate event spaces for Monkey Maze and Cosmocity, generating business from birthdays, schools, corporate deals and summer camps. The role focuses on delivering memorable, innovative events while ensuring guest satisfaction and loyalty.

Key responsibilities

• Sell and coordinate event space, securing leads from birthdays, schools, corporate deals and summer camps.
• Build and maintain relationships with internal and external partners to deliver innovative events.
• Research potential leads using business directories, web searches and digital resources.
• Update the events calendar regularly and share weekly schedules with the Regional Operations/Facility Manager.
• Conduct facility tours, provide accurate information to guests and focus on improving guest satisfaction.
• Maintain professional records of service deficiencies, complaints, accidents and implement preventive measures.
• Act as the Ambassador of fun, encouraging repeat visits and attracting new guests.
• Coordinate staff availability with the Facility Manager and ensure adherence to Operations and Personnel Manuals.
• Handle guest inquiries, prepare proposals and keep organized event records.
• Develop creative event ideas, update shows and entertainment offerings.
• Ensure all event arrangements (setup, food, AV, timeline, special needs) are gathered prior to the event.
• Maintain cleanliness of assigned areas and manage guest files before and after events.
• Participate in team training on guest services, first aid and emergency procedures.

Required profile

• Understand and implement Cosmofun’s Quality Policy in line with ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018.
• Commitment to continuous improvement in service quality, reliability and guest service excellence.
• Ability to handle minor technical issues related to machines and report incidents.
• Awareness of evacuation plans and mall/shopping centre instructions.
• Trained on safety measures, incident handling, emergency procedures and communication protocols.
• Ensure non‑conforming outputs are identified and controlled to prevent unintended use.
