Entry Level Tax Preparer (Seasonal)

About the role

Join Jackson Hewitt as a Seasonal Entry Level Tax Preparer and help clients navigate the tax filing process. You will work directly with customers to prepare accurate tax returns and provide support during IRS audits.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct face‑to‑face tax interviews and prepare complete, accurate tax returns, including multi‑year and multi‑state filings.
• Provide IRS audit support, answer client calls, and assist with future tax planning.
• Process client payments, ensure timely deposits, and handle e‑filing of returns to federal and state agencies.
• Support business generation efforts and promote additional products and services.

Required profile

• Passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer proficiency and math ability.
• Willingness to learn tax preparation in a fast‑paced environment.
