Emergency Coordinator – Lebanon Emergency Response

About the role
The Emergency Coordinator will lead the design, implementation and monitoring of Catholic Relief Services’ multi‑sectoral emergency response in Lebanon. Working with a network of more than 14 local partners, the role supports displaced families, hard‑to‑reach communities and migrants affected by the conflict.
Key responsibilities
- Provide technical oversight and strategic direction for emergency and recovery programming across Beirut, Bekaa, Mount Lebanon, Nabatieh, Saida and conflict‑affected zones.
- Ensure that systems and processes deliver high‑quality assistance, including food, non‑food items, shelter, cash‑for‑shelter and psychosocial support.
- Coordinate with local partners, government authorities and other stakeholders to align interventions with protection mainstreaming standards.
- Monitor programme performance, prepare reports and adapt activities to evolving needs.
- Manage budgets, procurement and logistics in compliance with CRS policies.
Required profile
- Proven experience in emergency or humanitarian programme management, preferably in conflict‑affected settings.
- Strong knowledge of protection mainstreaming and PSEA principles.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse partners and communities.
- Excellent analytical and reporting skills.
