Electrical Site Engineer – Real Estate Projects

About the role

Jaber Group Real Estate is looking for an Electrical Site Engineer to support the execution, coordination, inspection and follow‑up of electrical works across its real‑estate projects in Beirut. The role ensures that power, lighting, low‑current, earthing, containment, panels and related systems are installed in line with approved drawings, specifications and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Follow‑up day‑to‑day electrical site works, ensuring alignment with approved drawings and project requirements.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and site teams to resolve interfaces and maintain progress.
• Escalate delays, clashes, access constraints or recurring issues to the Project Manager.
• Review electrical drawings, shop drawings, specifications, BOQs, load and panel schedules, and approved submittals before execution.
• Raise and track RFIs, technical clarifications and site queries to avoid delays.
• Monitor works against specifications, method statements, ITPs and quality checklists.
• Inspect delivered materials and equipment against submittals and specifications.
• Identify quality issues, issue NCRs and follow corrective actions to closure.
• Track progress, manpower, quantities and inspection results for accurate reporting.
• Maintain organized records of inspections, approvals, drawings, RFIs, testing records and site instructions.
• Support testing, pre‑commissioning, commissioning, energisation readiness and authority requirements.
• Assist in closing defects, punch‑list items and handover documentation, including as‑built drawings and O&M manuals.

Required profile

• Ability to follow approved drawings, specifications and method statements.
• Strong coordination skills with contractors, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Experience reviewing electrical drawings, shop drawings, BOQs and load schedules.
• Proficiency in raising and following up RFIs and technical queries.
• Knowledge of inspection and test plans (ITPs) and non‑conformance reporting.
