Electrical Engineer – Panel & MCC Design

About the role

The Electrical Engineer will join National Automated Systems’ workshop in Himlaya to design and develop electrical panel boards, intelligent MCC systems, and power distribution solutions for industrial and infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities

• Create detailed electrical schematics and technical documentation for manufacturing and installation.
• Perform calculations, load studies and component selection to meet project specifications and industry standards.
• Design panel boards and MCC systems, integrating SCADA and automation technologies.
• Collaborate with project managers, technicians and other engineers to ensure safe, efficient and cost‑effective designs.
• Support testing, commissioning and on‑site troubleshooting of electrical systems.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with quality and safety requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
• Strong foundational knowledge of electricity and electrical engineering principles.
• Experience with panel board design, MCCs and OEM manufacturing environments (preferred).
• Familiarity with Schneider Electric products and SCADA systems (a plus).
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, standards and codes with high attention to detail and safety.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work in cross‑functional teams.
• Willingness to work on‑site in workshop and project environments.
