Electrical Design Engineer

About the role

The Electrical Design Engineer will join the Electrical and Automation Department to support the design, assembly, and commissioning of electrical and automation control systems for industrial machinery. Reporting to the Automation and Electrical Manager, the role involves both office‑based design work and on‑site support.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in creating electrical schematics and control drawings using AutoCAD.
• Select, wire, and test electrical components such as PLCs, VFDs, sensors, and safety devices.
• Help assemble and commission electrical control panels and industrial equipment.
• Configure and troubleshoot PLC programs and automation systems under supervision.
• Prepare technical documentation, reports, BOQs, BOMs, and commissioning records.
• Support testing activities, compile snag lists, and implement corrective actions during project execution.
• Coordinate with mechanical, production, and automation teams to ensure project accuracy and timely completion.
• Provide on‑site or workshop assistance during installation and commissioning phases as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 0‑2 years of experience in industrial electrical design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Demonstrated proactivity, ability to multitask, and a professional attitude.
