Data Security & Compliance Internship – Lebanon (MEA)

About the role

Join the Security department as a Data Security & Compliance Intern and gain hands‑on experience in protecting sensitive information across the MEA region. You will work with industry‑leading tools such as Microsoft Purview, Intune, and Defender for Cloud Apps to implement data classification, labeling, and governance controls.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in implementing and testing data classification and labeling policies using Microsoft Purview.
• Support the configuration and tuning of Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies across cloud services and endpoint devices.
• Help enforce data governance rules aligned with compliance standards.
• Shadow senior team members on projects involving data protection, policy design, and security controls.
• Contribute to documentation, tool configuration, and compliance review tasks.

Required profile

• Current student or recent graduate in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• Strong interest in cybersecurity, data protection, and compliance.
• Ability to learn quickly and work under mentorship.
