Data Analyst

About the role

Chedid Capital, a leading financial holding and investment group in insurance and reinsurance, is seeking a Data Analyst to drive data modeling, mining, analytics, and business intelligence across its core applications. The role focuses on designing a centralized data repository, developing ETL processes, and delivering actionable insights from large datasets.

Key responsibilities

• Build a company‑wide platform for integrating, analyzing, and deriving insights from vast data sets.
• Design and maintain databases and data warehouses, ensuring data is clean and well‑organized.
• Supervise all data analytics / BI projects across the group, ensuring timely and high‑quality delivery.
• Design and build integrated graphical dashboards based on defined KPIs.
• Prepare complex reports for key stakeholders that effectively communicate trends, patterns, and predictions.
• Use tools to analyze Big Data, focusing on trends and patterns valuable for diagnostic and predictive analytics.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Mathematics, or a related field (Master’s degree a plus).
• 2–4 years of experience as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst.
• Fluency in English and French.
• Knowledge of insurance or insurance‑related systems is a plus.

Required skills

• Data cleansing, data modeling, data mining, and segmentation techniques.
• Business Intelligence and reporting tools such as Business Objects, Power BI, Tableau.
• Databases including Microsoft SQL and Oracle; experience with data warehouses and ETL frameworks.
• Advanced SQL querying, database design, and integration.
• Programming languages such as C# or Java and familiarity with system integrations and APIs.
• Big Data frameworks, e.g., Hadoop.
