Data Analyst – Internal Audit

About the role

Chedid Capital Group is seeking a Data Analyst to support its Internal Audit function. The role combines data‑analytics expertise with an audit mindset to continuously monitor processes, detect exceptions, and identify fraud or risk across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a continuous auditing framework covering key audit areas and automated tests.
• Identify risk indicators, control indicators, exception rules and red‑flags for recurring monitoring.
• Translate audit objectives into automated tests, analytical procedures and data‑driven dashboards.
• Define data requirements, extract, clean and transform data from source systems.
• Build scoring models or risk‑ranking logic to prioritize exceptions for review.
• Design and maintain Power BI dashboards for audit monitoring and reporting.
• Automate data extraction, cleaning, transformation and testing using Power Query, Python, SQL and Power BI.
• Support audit teams in interpreting results and distinguishing false positives from genuine fraud indicators.
• Assist in developing fraud detection models and red‑flag indicators.
• Execute internal audit tasks, participate in IT audits and ERP post‑implementation reviews.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
