Customs Compliance Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Customs Compliance Specialist to ensure our organization meets all customs formalities and regulations in Beirut, Lebanon. The role involves managing import/export documentation and supporting smooth customs operations across departments.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all aspects of customs compliance, including the NAJM system.
• Prepare and review import/export documentation for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders and relevant parties to resolve customs issues.
• Develop and maintain customs compliance procedures and policies.
• Provide guidance on tariff classifications, customs valuation, and HTS codes.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in customs compliance or a related field.
• In‑depth knowledge of Lebanese customs regulations and international trade laws.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Required skills

• Proficiency with customs compliance software (including NAJM system).
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Familiarity with Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) classifications.
