Customer Service Specialist – French Speaker (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a bilingual French‑English Customer Service Specialist to join our remote call‑center team supporting an online travel booking platform. The role involves first‑level inbound and outbound assistance, handling modifications, cancellations, deposit claims and escalations for homeowners using the platform.

Key responsibilities

• Answer inbound and make outbound customer service calls while managing cases in the ticketing system.
• Act as the first point of contact for homeowners, providing timely assistance especially during escalations.
• Log, classify and follow up on all interactions, maintaining accurate call history and resolution records.
• Analyze call data, share customer feedback and stay updated on process and platform changes.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams through clear, documented communication.

Required profile

• Professional‑level French (C2) and fluent English.
• Proven experience in customer service, preferably in the travel or online booking sector.
• Ability to multitask between live calls and case handling under pressure.
• Availability to work CET schedule, Monday‑Sunday 8:00 AM‑10:00 PM with mandatory Saturday or Sunday shift.
• Minimum 30 hours and maximum 40 hours per week, with two days off.

Required skills

• Experience with Zendesk or similar ticketing platforms.
• Familiarity with Slack for team collaboration.
• Proficiency in Salesforce and standard office tools.
• Stable broadband internet (LAN preferred) and a wired USB headset.
• Operating system: Windows 11 or later, or macOS 14+.
