Customer Service & Operations Officer

About the role

The Customer Service & Operations Officer ensures smooth flow of inventory, order processing and customer support. Working closely with sales, suppliers and customs, the role balances operational efficiency with high‑quality service.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain an up‑to‑date overview of inventory and record all incoming and outgoing items.
• Place supplier orders following company protocol and sales targets.
• Coordinate with clearance agents to manage customs clearance and receipt of goods.
• Resolve mismatched items with suppliers or customs and handle returns efficiently.
• Provide the sales team and management with item turnover analysis and weekly reports on near‑expired goods.
• Track consignment items, ensure retrieval before expiry or sale, and keep reports current.
• Support the customer service department by fulfilling pending orders, answering inquiries and updating order status.
• Assist in resolving customer complaints related to order discrepancies or delivery issues.
• Prepare and submit daily activity reports to the supervisor.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• 0–2 years of experience in administrative, operations or customer service roles.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational ability and discretion with sensitive information.
• Proactive, multitasking in a fast‑paced environment with a customer‑focused mindset.
