Credit & Collection Analyst – Gulf Levant (Contractor)

About the role

The Credit & Collection Analyst will support the affiliate’s receivables and Record to Report processes across the Gulf‑Levant region, covering ten countries. Reporting to the Senior Credit & Collection Analyst, the role requires a proactive, result‑oriented individual with strong interpersonal skills.

Key responsibilities

• Manage monthly accrual of customer rebates and collaborate with FP&A to ensure accurate Net Sales reporting.
• Reconcile and review balance‑sheet accounts related to customer rebates.
• Process rebate payments, verify calculations, and resolve customer queries.
• Validate customer claims against AbbVie policies and ensure proper documentation.
• Lead collection activities for past‑due invoices, disputed discounts, and credit‑limit breaches.
• Monitor accounts for risk, escalating issues to management as needed.
• Communicate monthly statements to customers and coordinate bank guarantee transactions with VLOG and Treasury.
• Support compliance, internal controls, and audit activities.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including distributors for certification processes.
• Perform ad‑hoc analysis and support finance projects.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant accounting/finance experience.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication abilities.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently and meet strict deadlines.
• Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus.
