Cost Controller

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Cost Controller to join CIS Group’s ICT operations in Jal El Dib. The successful candidate will monitor project and operational expenses, ensure alignment with budgets, and provide clear financial insights to support strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and control operational and project costs against approved budgets.
• Analyze cost structures, profitability, and overall financial performance.
• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual cost reports.
• Conduct variance analysis (Actual vs Budget vs Forecast) and deliver actionable insights.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities and drive efficiency improvements.
• Develop interactive dashboards using Excel, Power BI, or similar tools.
• Present financial data through charts, graphs, and KPIs for management.
• Automate reporting processes and enhance data visibility.
• Support annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and update forecasts based on actual performance.
• Ensure adherence to financial policies, assist internal/external audits, and maintain data integrity across systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Data Analysis, or a related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in cost control, financial analysis, or a similar role.
• Fluent in Arabic, English, and French.
• Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel (dashboards, pivot tables, complex formulas).
• Power BI or comparable data‑visualisation tool.
• Cost accounting principles.
• Financial analysis and variance reporting.
